Allow me to begin by saying that I'm no doctor, and nor do I claim to hold the secrets to eternal life, but I do have a few techniques up my sleeve that will take the weakest lungs and provide instant benefits to help aid in breath and in breathing with a newfound set of powerful pipes.

How do we accomplish this you ask? With training, just like everything else in life...we must first understand it in order to master it's details to become our own. If you would be so inclined to provide me with five to six minutes of your time then I would be happy to educate about the power of the lungs and oxygen in general.

As with the heart, the lungs are a subconscious function and always in constant motion. Yet, they are still a vital muscle of overall potential health and wellness for the individual that can be altered and strengthened with a little knowledge about our lungs and their life-giving capabilities.

You see, we humans are able to control our lungs. Even though we cannot do anything with our heartbeat, we can always do something with our breathing, or lack thereof, because we are in control of our lungs even though they are being controlled by our subconscious mind. The conscious mind has control of them during our intellectual day. You choose how to use them.

If you ever want to get the maximum potential from your lungs, just keep reading...

Once again I feel the need to remind about a disclaimer that I am not a doctor nor a scientist. I am nothing more than an individual who is aware of all the certain specific topics, subjects and interests, just like you are interested with your branch of life. Let me help you expand your branch to make it strong and sturdy for us. We don't need to be doctors to understand that the lungs are the organs that transfer the world's outside environment into ourselves for processing and assimilation into our bodies, regardless if it's positive or negative...

Please allow me to introduce a practice that will transform your overall outlook on your health and welfare from a simple exercise that takes less than 2 minutes to perform just before you transfer yourself from the conscious to the subconscious, or what we know as being awake to falling asleep.

Imagine yourself retiring for the evening. You go to the bedroom and prepare yourself to sleep. While you are no longer in the vertical position and settled into the traditional horizontal position is when you can begin your training on your lungs and supercharge them beyond imagination until it becomes second nature along with the rest of your habits and other distinct characteristics.

It will never matter or make a difference if you sleep on your back or your side or stomach. The exercise is not affected by our position in bed.

Step #1: Take a deep breath. Inhale as much air as you can hold in your lungs without coughing.

Step #2: Hold the air in your lungs and relax your stomach so that your diaphragm is holding the air and your lungs are motionless. Holding your breath with your diaphragm will allow you to exert much less energy and provide you with extra holding power so that your heart and other vital organs will recognize this as activity and get involved in the exercise.

From this point you are now in control.

Step 3: Release the air through your nose and not your mouth. Allow the air to travel freely from your nose in one great force of reverse breath intake. It's a powerful exhaust of carbon dioxide.

Once or twice performing this exercise will reduce your reluctance to sleep as well as boost your breathing and oxygen levels significantly. Most individuals will immediately notice the effects of the structured breathing exercise that allows us to hold our lungs and breath in a state of limbo as if we were holding our breath underwater, but for a different purpose.

We are not holding our breath to survive, we are holding our breath to give the lungs an iron workout that have done wonders for people suffering from the most severe syndromes of asthma to anxiety issues, because the answers are there if we choose to know where to look for them.

Not only the simplicity of this 3-step system works for strengthening the lungs and overall health, it also provides a stepping stone towards understanding how to transform from conscious to the unconscious or subconscious. In other words, it's the ability to teach ourselves how to "drift off to sleep".

Everything in life is a process....the question is, does one show the interest in absorbing the information provided? Or remain on the outside of our own creation?

Sleep is a switch, much in the same way our lungs are a switch or mechanism for a specific purpose. Once a person learns the switches and mechanisms, it is then they have much more control over themselves as an individual person in their overall balance of health and wellness.

Try this exercise one evening during bedtime. You may find that you are falling asleep sooner and also absorbing the benefits of the physical exercise that is strengthening your overall self. I promise you that it will do no harm to you other than surprise yourself just how much you can affect your own energy through the power of your lungs and their ability to process oxygen for us.

If you so choose to accept this exercise and implement it into your alternating evening routine then I promise you good health and happiness far sooner than you think, because there's no need to think too much when interaction is a much more effective tool. It will speak for itself, from the worst of the chain-smoking hacking fits of coughs to the pure virgin pink lungs of the non-smoking athletic -- benefits happen when we do things right, and working our lungs is no different than working the rest of our physical muscles. It's just a simple 3-step process that has no downside other than a few minutes of your time while your eyes are closed and ready for sleep.

What steps do I need to perform again?

  1. Inhale air to the max.

  2. Hold air to the max.

  3. Release air to the max.

You will quickly begin to feel your newfound Iron Lungs generate a higher level of both your energy as well as your serenity. Enjoy!
