MUSIC BIOGRAPHY
Glenn MJ Shatz started his musical journey behind the drums at the age of 7 years old and the guitar a few years later. Glenn also adopted the piano and other various instruments from around the world where he spent much of his youth developing his own unique style of music and recording the event whenever the opportunity presented itself.

Much of Glenn's early years were also spent playing road and ice hockey while developing the drums and guitar from playing along with songs by various artists and spending time in the local music studios as a drummer and guitarist in a handful of local Edmonton bands until the late 1990s when Glenn shifted to writing, composing, recording and producing his own music and creating his own solo album projects.

LOCK & SAFE BIOGRAPHY
​
It was during the late 1980s where a decision was to be made about which direction to choose in life; music or security.
"I was eighteen years old and at a crossroads in my life between the career of a musician, or as a locksmith. It was a real fork in the road. After much consideration I chose the peaceful life of a locksmith and safecracker while quietly releasing my music as a hobby."

After ten years of employment at a local locksmith company, Glenn decided to start his own business venture of buying into a partnership with other investors in the locksmith company Wetaskiwin Lockshop (1999) Inc., as well as investing in his own locksmith company Genesis Lockworks, later to be renamed Eclipse Lock & Safeworks Ltd.

It was also in the year 1999 when Glenn established the Safesmiths organization, controlling the world's largest safe and vault database of information necessary to defeat most any and all safes, vaults and security containers worldwide.

Over the years Glenn began to specialize in safe and vault opening where he soon began providing his services to the local police, professional NHL hockey teams, law courts officials, members of Parlament, Canadian military installations across Canada, as well as the common everyday civil citizen who has ever had the dreadful experience and unmistakable helpless feeling of complete and total panic when they get locked out of their home safe attempting to retrieve their passport just 2 hours before they have to arrive at the airport for their flight to a vacation destination.
